After departing Sag Harbor, the magnificent sandy bluffs of Barcelona in East Hampton come into view. Passing the historic Cedar Point Lighthouse to starboard, we enter the protected waters of Gardiner’s Bay. Here, the predictable southwest sea breeze allows the grand 94-year-old schooner to display her pedigree.

CHARTER OPTIONS
All that Lelanta has to offer can be enjoyed on a half day charter. Often, the sailing is followed by a refreshing swim, while the crew is setting up a gourmet picnic spread. Relaxation mode is now in full effect.

Lelanta shines on a full day charter. She becomes the destination and captures the best of East End sailing. With the added time, guest are able to melt into the surroundings. One begins the feel the yacht and the timelessness of sailing.
A full day charter adds plenty of time to anchor up and enjoy a beautifully catered lunch. Lelanta’s large central butterfly hatch transforms into a chic centerpiece, perfect for alfresco dining.

The magic of a sunset sail is hard to describe unless you see it in person. It is the perfect opportunity to end your day and start your evening. We set sail around North Haven to capture last light, when the sky turns into a cotton candy kaleidoscope of colors. Don’t forget a warm pullover (can be chilly on the water). Enjoy good food, good company, and good sailing aboard Lelanta. Sunset departures vary, depending on the time of year, we will let you know the best time to enjoy your 2.5 hour sail.

New this year! Start the day off right with a brunch sail! Freshly brewed coffee from a local favorite, Aldos in Greenport. Bagels served with all the fixings… freshly baked croissants from the fabulous Carissas… and freshly squeezed orange juice (bring the champagne if you want ☺️).

Lelanta’s ability to host photoshoots is defined by her past successes. From Grey Goose Vodka, Allure Homme Sport Chanel to Brooks Brothers, she has provided the look and the feel that promotes success. Lelanta is available on the East End of Long Island in the summer and the Caribbean in winter.

What to Bring
All the best food, nibbles, and refreshing drinks (please, no Red wine). Please ask about local catering options we recommend. We have great knowledge on paring the perfect food options while sailing, whether it be a pre-dinner sunset sail cheese board or a afternoon of sun and fresh lobster rolls, we are here to assist with the best options for a memorable hosting environment to all clients.
Non spray sunscreen. We have cream sunscreen on board if some is needed during your sail.

GETTING HERE
Lelanta is moored in Sag Harbor’s inner harbor. To transport your party out to Lelanta we will coordinate The Sag Harbor Water Taxi, located in Long Wharf Marina. The ride is short and sweet – no more than 2 minutes. The water taxi is right across the street from Le Bilboquet. A crew member will be at the dock to meet and accompany guests on the short water taxi ride out to Lelanta.
